After a long hard winter -- both literally and figuratively speaking for many of us -- spring is nature's sigh of relief. New energy is all around us and life is springing forth, ready or not!


Use the energy spring brings to energize your marketing

It's a time of inspiration, a time to plant seeds, and to prepare ourselves for the harvest.. Combine that with the Year of the Tiger, and we should all be on the move - allowing needed changes to happen, pushing new ideas along, chasing new business, reorganizing, and letting go of what we don't need or doesn't work.

What's working and what's not?

Marketing results are never guaranteed -- so tracking, reviewing, and tweaking are a critical part of marketing. Reviews should be year-round, but spring is a great time to introduce new ideas that have life and energy to them, and let failed programs die or rest.

Look Around

Take a look around -- in this world of technological impermanence there are always new products, technologies, methods, people, and ideas to take in. Open up and let it in!

Shout Out

Spring is a time to reconnect with people -- share the energy and build on it! Brainstorming new product ideas, exploring new partnerships, and invention in general are all exciting things to talk about -- and why not? Everything starts with an idea.


Good Things are Coming Your Way

Get out of the way and let them come! There is always something good coming straight at you, just waiting for you to clear away the rubble and let it through. Don't worry -- the problems will still be there when you need them.

Much of marketing is about a good attitude, confidence, open eyes, and reality. Right now the reality is that there is energy all around -- and all you have to do is let it in!
